To get to the Valls del Pedraforca from Barcelona, Girona or other nearby points, you can use a combination of public transport and private vehicles . Once there, to move around the various towns that make up the valleys, you have the option of hiking or using the bus service .
From Barcelona, take the C-16 highway heading north towards Puigcerdà. Follow the signs to Berga and then continue to Gósol. This is a good starting point for hiking routes in the Valls del Pedraforca.
You can take a train from Barcelona to Berga. From Berga, you will have to take a bus to Gósol. Once in Gósol, you can start the walk or take another bus line that will take you to the Valls del Pedraforca.
Some bus companies offer direct services from Barcelona or other cities to Gósol.
