The Trementinaires Museum, inaugurated in December 1998, is part of the Trades of Yesterday Route, promoted by the Regional Council of Alt Urgell, and is located in the town of Tuixent.
La visita a aquest museu ens permetrà conèixer qui eren les trementinaires, quines herbes i remeis comercialitzaven i com organitzaven les seves rutes, sempre a peu, des de la vall de la Vansa i Tuixent, fins a les terres planes de l’interior i el litoral de Catalunya.
Si us interessa el món de les plantes i en particular les plantes medicinals, també podeu gaudir d’un recorregut per el Jardí Urbà de les Trementinaires situat per els carrers de Tuixent, o bé a les afores del poble podeu visitar el Jardí Botànic de les Trementinaires on podreu descobrir moltes de les plantes del nostre entorn i coneixes les seves propietats i característiques.
