The start of this route is at Coll de la Bena. From here we will take the middle track in the direction of the torrent. Before we get there, we will find, on the left hand side of the path, two holes that are old ovens that were used to make roof tiles.
Després agafarem el camí de l’esquerra que va pujant per dins del bosc, que més endavant travessa un torrent d’aigües clares i riques en fauna i que puja per la seva dreta.
Quan gairebé arribem al Coll de Bauma ens trobarem la font de Coll de Bauma i uns fogons preparats per poder gaudir d’un dia d’esbarjo. També veurem un bassa protegida amb un tancat: és un dipòsit d’aigua per utilitzar en cas d’incendi.
Continuarem pujant una mica més i ja arribarem al coll. Creuarem la pista forestal i ens desviarem cap a l’esquerra per dins d’un bonic bosc, on podrem veure dues espècies de pi: pi roig i pi negre. Ens anirem enfilant fins arribar a un Coll on novament ens tornarem a desviar a l’esquerra per aquest tram. Si mirem a la dreta del nostre recorregut veurem reflectits en algun pi els treballs realitzats per picot garser o negre.
Planejarem fins a trobar la pista forestal que abans havíem creuat al Coll de Bauma i ja no la deixarem fins arribar al Coll de la Bena, on havíem iniciat l’excursió.
