If paradise exists, Gisclareny looks pretty much like it. In the act of consecration of the parish of Sant Miquel Turbians (formerly del Paradís), consecrated in 948, it speaks of a village in the town known as el Paradís.

Gisclareny és l’únic dels 17 municipis que integren el parc natural del Cadí Moixeró que hi té inclosa tota la seva superfície, prop de 37 quilòmetres quadrats. Gaudint de meravelloses vistes del massís del Pedraforca, del Puig-llançada, del Penyes Altes o l’Ensija des dels miradors de Gargallosa, a tocar del barri del Roser, o del d’Albert Arilla.
