Easy circular route to discover the surroundings of Gósol. Before or after you can take the opportunity to go up to the castle where there is a very good panorama or visit the Picasso Centre.
Com que Gósol només era accessible amb animal fins a finals dels anys 40, conserva l’encant –i alguns inconvenients- d’haver estat un lloc apartat del ritme frenètic del món modern. A part del clàssic reclam del Pedraforca, el poble ofereix múltiples atractius al visitant. Val la pena visitar les ruïnes del poble antic, agrupat al voltant del castell dalt d’un turó; les ruïnes de l’església de Santa Maria han estat restaurades i es pot pujar a la torre, des de la qual s’obté una bona panoràmica; també val la pena visitar el petit museu etnogràfic i commemoratiu de l’estada de Picasso al poble a principis del segle XX. La ruta que us proposem recorre la fèrtil vall de Gósol, passant per antics camps –avui prats- i camins ramaders.
